Both from a distance and close up I wondered if this display was to inspire gifting of Prada in the Brushed Silver box seemingly shown? But then I realized these are Rope or String Belts, with the buckle concealed beneath, and the construction including bow-tied backs. I have to admit I lifted the display, and looked underneath to confirm. I suspect some sales were lost through shoppers not realizing these were bests. But other sales might be gained through planting a gift idea. Discrete signing or echoing the belt in use on nearby mannequins might allow both strategies to succeed.
