The adhesive mount means it can be put in play on a number of surfaces, and I assume, make it a good choice for short-run point-of-purchase display needs. With a jig, you could get repeatable hook locations at whatever interval you needed. The straight-entry characteristic is an advantage in tight merchandise layouts like jewelry small item merchandising as here.
