I had to look twice when I first saw these Belt Snails. Or at least that what I thought they looked like. But upon closer inspection the belts are merely coiled in a Snail-shaped acrylic form. Though belts can be rolled into this configuration by themselves, the fixture provides stability and a repeatable size coil and uniform display. Upon reflection, I like them, slightly Gastropodian or not. CLICK the thumbnail to take a good slow look.
