Followers of FixturesCloseUp know my dislike of pure “Out of Stock” messages. I believe in cross selling to an existing item. A “raincheck” is a good start on pleasing rather than disappointing a customer. But this requires they return to get their item. How about a discount on a similar item of their choice?
