Tipi Construct is Shanghai

If my mission is to show fixture alternatives for retail, then this is surely one to stimulate your thinking. You must agree it is like nothing else … though more than vaguely tripodal or to my North American cultural imperatives, Tipi in construction. Tripods, tipi’s and pyramidal shapes are among the most stable structures, so I would expect this structure to be also. Plus it offers overhead display opportunities unrealized in boxier fixture forms. Normally I do not show any item that I do not personally see on the retail floor, but here I violate my own rule. This is the Italian Metalfilo Shanghai system. CLICK the thumbnail for another angle view. As for the name Shanghai, yes it could have a tie to open, airy Bamboo-based construction.
