Not much to look at, but then it’s not meant to be good looking. Sunglasses make a store-entrance smorgasbord for shoppers. Many stopped to hunt for elusive Ray Ban or famous brand bargains hidden among all the others. This may even be a good way to pass along last season’s sunglass designs. I have seen this approach to Spring sunglass display for 2 or 3 years at the same well-heeled department store where you would not expect such massive mass merchandising. It must turn a dollar … or turn last year’s inventory.
