Admittedly, it has been a mild Winter. Nevertheless these snow shovels were selling on a balmy winter’s day with only a hint of snow pending. Part of the motivation, I am sure, is end-of-season markdowns. But believe it or not, the disheveled ( not dis-shovelled ) appearance of the display effectively screams “On Sale Cheap” from a distance. Was the display purposely laid out to create that effect? Probably not. But it was serendipitously effective in spite of unseasonably warm February weather. CLICK the thumbnail to see the sprouting of arms, bars, faceouts and T-hooks that combine to make this curious mobile fixture.
