The VMSD February edition featured Timberland retail design in depth including the natually pebbled display above. Readers of FixturesCloseUp may recall seeing the display approach documented here March 15, 2010. Are there differences? Yes. The VMSD shot is genteel river-washed rounded gravel, while the FixturesCloseUp shot features rough-and-tumble jagged crushed stone. In both cases great outdoor shoe display minds think alike, as do great retail fixture publications like VMSD and FCU. You just would have seen it here a tad sooner.
