Slot-on-slot: a curious combination of slotted Backbar mounted over slotted display surface. The hooks are popular Two-piece Straight Entry Scan Hook design. Neither the hook gauge or products displayed indicated any need for the added strength of a bar atop the slot wall. The slot bar may just be a standard accessory shipped with the gondola to allow future flexibility in display use. Admittedly it has a clean contemporary look. Most Pegboard and Slatwall hooks mount readily to Slot Wall. Just don’t take any chance on mating fixtures. Reputable manufacturers will happily supply hook samples for you to test. *****
