Floor graphics, wall signs and ceiling navigation all make an effort to overcome confusion caused by a major remodel at a leading retail department store. You certainly have to give them an “A” for effort in that no turn or hall was without a wealth of choices of ingress, egress and passage.

Unfortunately I could not rate effectiveness being already familiar with the store. Asking a stranger might get a true objective opinion. But the few departments that had moved, I was readily able to find. We all should have a staff as committed as this, who when told to sign the store during construction, left no space without a navigational graphic to fill it.
