It would seem fixture trade shows actually improve retail store fixture blog readership. Maybe with the “boss” at the show and out of the office the “staff” has time to research and browse the internet? Or stuck in hotel rooms, maybe attendees look for ways to fill the lonely nights? One would not have predicted a Fixtures Close Up blog readership spike during the GlobalShop trade show in Las Vegas. But I am happy for the business. Come one, come all.
SEE “Holiday Fixture Interest High” for stats regarding retail and point-of-purchase fixture readership trends for Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Do you blog retail fixtures, point-of-purchase, or store design? Specializing in micro-components, Fixtures Close Up is highly specialized but, as you can imagine, thinly read. If you care to trade insights on social media and stats in this rarefied atmosphere email me via the blog, or reach out through LinkedIn. If you are comely and cute, we might meet for drinks, but I first need my wife Margarit’s permission. And I am required to be home early.
